Nicola qualified from Kings College London in 1984 and has worked in the Cambridge area for many years and at Hopvine House since 2001. Nicola loves providing family dental care and feels that if children start attending from a young age they feel more confident in the chair and ultimately develop good dental habits.
In order to ensure preventative care for the whole family it is important to have regular check ups, Nicola loves all aspects of providing family dental care ranging from treating toddlers to cosmetic work and helping people to feel more confident about visiting the dentist .
Outside dentistry Nicola enjoys rowing , hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Lynda qualified at the Royal Dental Hospital in London in 1985 and has worked as a family dentist since that time in a general practice.
Lynda loves to treat the whole family from very young children, to teenagers to, adults, to the very elderly – catering to everyone’s different needs.
A full range of dentistry is provided including dental prevention, restoring problem teeth, cosmetic treatments to brighten your smile and improve appearance. If snoring is a problem in your household, then this is another area that Lynda is able to offer effective, custom-made anti-snoring devices, which can make snoring a thing of the past!
Through regularly attending post graduate courses, Lynda keeps up to date with the latest techniques and applies these to her everyday dentistry.
Lynda’s aim is always to provide the very best service that she can and for everyone to leave their appointment feeling thoroughly well cared for.
In her spare time Lynda enjoys gardening, travelling and catching up with friends.
Paul Humber – BDS, LDS, RCS – GDC 60406
Paul’s special interest is Invisalign orthodontics; giving patients the smile they always wanted using only their natural teeth. He is one of the only practitioners in Britain whose postgraduate qualifications are based on research into the Invisalign technique, which has been widely published. He was one of the first practitioners in Britain to use Invisalign and has successfully treated over 1800 patients using the system since 2003.
As well as working at Hopvine House he lectures on the subject to postgraduate dentists in the UK and around the world. He qualified at London University in 1985 and won the prestigious J A Smith Prize and the Lonnon Bursary from London University for Orthodontics and Dental Materials Science.
His work and research has been published in the journals Orthodontic Dentistry, Orthodontic Practice US, the Probe, Dentistry, and Aesthetic Dentistry Today where he is also on the editorial board.
Paul’s aim is to listen to what the patient actually wants for their teeth and work with them to give them the smile they deserve.
In his spare time he enjoys cinema, football, contemporary art, photography, and theatre. He has had four novels published and is currently writing a series of thrillers.
Mandar Nigdikar – MDDr (DDS) GDC 217700
Mandar, also known as Moon, qualified at the Charles University, Pargue in 2011 and has worked as a General practitioner since that time.
Having primarily focused as a family dentist Moon has extended his treatments to also include Invisalign clear aligners.
Moon grew up in Exning and attended Soham Village College so knows the area very well.
To date Moon has bred 1 racehorse and when not working you are likely to find him at Newmarket racecourse!
Esther’s main responsibilities are ensuring the practice runs smoothly which includes ensuring full compliance, overseeing the procedures and systems within the practice. Esther is also a fully qualified experienced nurse who will assist chair side when required.

All our nurses are qualified, and several of them have undertaken training in expanded duties. These additional courses enable nurses to carry out additional procedures such as taking impressions, removing sutures, advising and supervising dental whitening techniques, taking x rays etc.
Elaine is our ‘front of house’ Receptionist. When she is not available then you will be greeted by one of our nurses.
All of the team will answer the phone to you, ‘with a smile in their voice’! They also remind you by phone, text and e-mail of your appointments and have an active recall/maintenance system in place. They also manage interactions between the practice and our various laboratories.
